The silent battle that will affect 1 in 3 women in their lifetime, depression and anxiety in women is on the rise in Australia. With more and more research being funded into men’s mental health it is time to spread awareness to the women of Australia and educate others on how to treat and prevent it.
Liptember is a campaign dedicated to educating the community on women’s mental health with raising funds towards specific women’s mental health research and support programs. The goal is to not only improve women’s mental health but the overall health and wellbeing of the entire community.
We are proud to have our own Tully Smyth as one of the ambassadors for this brilliant campaign for 2018. Sharing her own stories of mental health struggles and promoting a positive message, in her role as ambassador Tully is encouraging her audience of 215,000+ to #GetLippy and speak up if you’re struggling.
We encourage everyone to get on board and support the amazing cause this September. From September 1, you can head into a Chemist Warehouse and pick up a Liptember lipstick to #KissAwayTheBlues, with all proceeds going to the research and education for women’s mental health.
