Liptember is an Australian campaign that is dedicated to educating our community about women’s mental health and racing funds towards specific women’s mental health research and support programs. The ultimate goal is to educate people about women’s mental health but also to educate people about the overall health and wellbeing of the entire community, to encourage and inspire people to listen, share, and learn.
The silent battle that will affect 1 in 3 women in their lifetime, depression and anxiety in women is on the rise in Australia. With more and more research being funded into men’s mental health it is time to spread awareness to the women of Australia and educate others on how to treat and prevent it.
